Overview

rustio.net is a free, open analytics platform for the Rust crate ecosystem. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we operate.

Data We Collect

Crate Data

All crate analytics displayed on this site are derived from the crates.io public database dump, which is published under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 license. We do not scrape or collect any non-public data.

User Data

We do not collect personal information. Specifically:

• No account registration or login is required.
• No cookies are set except your theme preference (light/dark), which is stored in your browser's localStorage only.
• No analytics tracking scripts (Google Analytics, etc.) are used.
• No advertising is displayed.

Server Logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) as part of their infrastructure. We do not access or process these logs for any purpose beyond basic operational monitoring. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

Local Storage

We store a single value in your browser's localStorage:

• theme — your preferred color scheme (rustio-light or rustio-dark).

This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare Pages — hosting and CDN.
• Google Fonts — font delivery (Inter, JetBrains Mono). Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
